Simeria Arboretum is the largest arboretum in Romania and the third largest in Europe. Spread over an area of over 70 hectares, Simeria arboretum has the oldest collection of exotic and indigenous plants in Romania. It is a unique place, full of color and life, which, together with the spring entices you with sublime flavors of flowers and a show of vibrant colors.

Simeria Arboretum is located in the town of the same name, on the river Mures. Access is very easy and you can drive to the entrance gate of the park. In Simeria get the DN7, whether you come from the west or center of the country.
Once in town, the main street will take you directly to the park entrance. An oasis of greenery and old trees curtain will tell you that you got to where you are looking.
About Arboretum Simeria could write a whole novel. It is one of the oldest dendrological parks in the country, attested since the mid eighteenth century and holds the oldest collection of exotic and indigenous plants in Romania. Here they were acclimatized for the first time in Romania species of chestnut trees and acacias.
