TRANSYLVANIA DOWNHILL is the first downhill longboard competition in Europe to feature a cable car among its 5.3km race track.

Transylvania Downhill is held in Straja,Hunedoara County, Romania, an amazing ski resort, complete with a gondola and accommodation in the resort’s hotels.
The track ,with a total length of 8km is a fun looking course with smooth tarmac and really wide straights that launch you into some seriously tight sweepers, of which some are followed by hairpins that drop up to 2 meters to spit you out with a load of exit speed for the next straight.
The racing is a leg endurance, technical and diverse corners litter the entire track with fast straights and kinks too, this hill delivers everything, a perfect balance between fast- and technical sections leaving you wanting more as soon as you arrive at the bottom. It seems to never end, and when it does, you’re back up within 10 minutes because the gondola is just a short walk through the woods away.Thanks to the gondola you can smash as much as 16 runs in a day. This number can be bigger depending on your strength.
Hotels are set up directly at the top of the track, next to the gondola’s top station. Rooms have their own en-suite bathroom and breakfast is provided every morning.
